Osteopathy

Osteopathy has a holistic approach with its almost 130-year history.

The body is seen as a functional unit that is not only influenced by internal processes, but also dependent on external factors. The goal of osteopathy is to find the cause of movement restrictions and discomfort.
The body is very good at adapting, so movement restrictions or tensions can be compensated for and are often hidden as a result. However, when adaptability is exhausted, small stresses, seemingly simple movements, or emotionally stressful situations can lead to pain or problems. Their cause is often at a distant location.

I use osteopathic techniques to find and correct the cause of:

  • Changes in tension in the fascia and muscle system
  • Changes in the tension of organ systems
  • Misalignments of the spine, joints, and skull
